Tyson Beckford was spotted arriving for another day of “Dancing With The Stars” practice in Hollywood, California. The 52-year-old model takes excellent care of his body and it shows! How many middle aged men can still walk around shirtless?
Tyson was discovered in 1992 when The Source magazine asked him to pose for a photo shoot in Manhattan’s Washington Square Park.
“I’m thinkin’, ‘Yeah, this is some porno magazine,'” he recalled, “but everything was legit.
Tyson’s career took off after the photo spread appeared in The Source. Women couldn’t get enough of his bedroom eyes and smoking good looks. He was soon modeling for Ralph Lauren Polo sportswear and Calvin Klein underwear.
Tyson was named “Man of the Year” in 1995 by VH1 and one of the “50 Most Beautiful People in the World” by People magazine. He was ranked number 38 on VH1’s 40 Hottest Hotties of the ’90s.
The ghey rumors soon followed. Kim Kardashian added fuel to the rumors when she clapped back at him after he said a doctor “f—ed up her right hip.”
Kim responded: “Sis we all know why you don’t care for it.” Some people assumed she was implying that he was gay.
Tyson hit back at Kim by saying he’s “always gonna pick a Beyonce over anyone else.”
The ghey rumors were never confirmed. Tyson has a 25-year-old son from a past relationship with celebrity stylist April Roomet.
