Tekashi 6ix9ine’s mugshot surfaced online following his arrest in the Dominican Republic for assaulting 2 music producers over the weekend.

The New York rapper, also known as Tekashi69, was detained while trying to board a private jet.

According to Dominican Republic-based criminal lawyer Felix Portes, Hernandez had been attempting to flee the country in a private jet but was held back due to an arrest warrant.

The mugshot shows a terrified Henandez standing with his back to a wall that features the words “DICRIM Republica Dominica.” His hands are cuffed behind him and he’s wearing a black t-shirt.

Instagram blogger DJ Akademiks posted a video that shows Hernandez being brought out of a building by police on Sunday, Oct. 15. He was placed in the back of a police vehicle and driven away.

The rapper, 27, was allegedly involved in an assault on two music producers who “disrespected” his girlfriend.

The two men were treated at a local hospital for non-life-threatening injuries.

Video footage shows Hernandez and other men enter a recording studio, then run out moments later. The video does not show the alleged assault.

Hernandez has a lengthy criminal record in America.

In 2015, Hernandez pleaded guilty to a felony count of use of a child in a sexual performance and received four years probation.

Hernandez was arrested in 2018 in New York on RICO gang violence charges. He testified against members of the Nine Trey Gangsta Bloods. He also testified that fellow rapper Cardi B was a member of the notorious Bloods street gang.

His testimony earned him a get-out-of-jail card, and lengthy prison sentences for his fellow gang members.

Facing death threats, Hernandez and his family fled to Florida where they took refuge in the Hispanic community.

In March, he was assaulted by members of the Latin Kings street gang in an LA Fitness restroom in Florida. He was hospitalized with internal injuries and facial abrasions.
