YouTuber Tasha K tearfully reached out to rapper Cardi B after a bankruptcy judge ordered her to pay nearly $3 million in punitive damages after Cardi sued her for defamation.

In a lengthy livestream video on Wednesday, Tasha K tearfully recalled childhood abuse at the hands of her mother’s boyfriend. She expressed suicidal thoughts, anxiety and depression from her litigation troubles.

Tasha blamed her childhood trauma and her own ego for defaming Cardi B in multiple videos on her popular YouTube channel.

Tasha said she reached out to Cardi B after she saw the rapper posting suicidal ideations on social media. Cardi was distraught over her followers calling her an “industry plant.”

Tasha said:

“When I saw her post in the wee hours of the night that she wanted to put a bullet in her head, and she was telling her fans ‘Go kill yourselves,’ you have to understand, that’s a spirit. That’s not the person. When people don’t wanna live, they don’t want nothing else around them to live.”

Tasha believes her own ego contributed to Cardi B’s mental breakdown.

“When you got a woman like her who has two children, and the world is tearing her down — and I aided in that. My ego did… It aided it a lot because my ego was on the defensive mode because I’ve got insecurities and I feel like I’m being attacked. And so then when you got two egos that are both coming from damaged backgrounds… we defend that… So I’ma come at you before you come at me.”

Tasha said she reached out to Cardi B, and told her: “If you put a bullet in your head, who is gonna teach me to be a better person?” She added: “Please stop posting stuff like this, I’m gonna pay you.”

The YouTuber told Cardi B she loved her for bringing her back down to Earth.

Tasha insisted she applied for Chapter 11 bankruptcy to manage her debts and save her business to pay her employees. She’s not trying to avoid paying what she owes Cardi B.
