Fans of Why Did I Get Married? actor Richard T. Jones are disappointed that he left his wife of 27 years for another woman.
Jones’ fans accused him of cheating on his wife, Nancy Jones, once he became a successful actor in Hollywood.
Jones, 51, and his wife Nancy were married in October 1996. They share two grown daughters, Aubrey and Sydney, and two young sons.
Fans were shocked when Jones posted photos of his “new” wife, Kristy, on his Instagram and Facebook pages. Apparently, he never publicized his divorce from Nancy.
In one Instagram post that showed him embracing Kristy 2 weeks ago, Jones wrote: “Kristy Jones blesses my heart daily y’all. Love me some her !!!”
Jones captioned a second post: “I love my beautiful wife. Thanks for loving me Kris. You’re my heart.”
The photos of Jones’ new wife caught his fans off guard.
One fan wrote, “This isn’t the wife I remember.”
Another person wrote “You should turn the comments off.”
Jones is best known for his starring roles in Tyler Perry’s Why Did I Get Married? (2007) and Why Did I Get Married Too? (2010). He also appeared in CSI: Miami (2006), Girlfriends (2007), Grey’s Anatomy (2010), Hawaii Five-0 (2011-2014), Narcos (2015), Criminal Minds (2017), and The Rookie (2018-present).
