Dwight Howard was back in court this week to terminate child support for his 13-year-old daughter.
The father-of-5 is seeking to terminate the $3,000 a month he pays for his daughter Layla Lo’Ren Howard, RadarOnline.com reported.
The former NBA star fathered Layla with ex-girlfriend Tiffany Render who has primary custody.
Howard, 37, was originally ordered to pay $12,000 a month for Layla, but his support was substantially lowered to $3,000 a month. Now Howard is asking a judge to terminate his support for Layla because his income has changed drastically and Render moved with the teen from Georgia to Florida without notifying him.
Howard said Render refused to allow him to see Layla. Additionally, he claimed Layla is active on social media, filming inappropriate TikTok videos and making “sexually inappropriate gestures.”
Howard’s lawyer said Render is exploiting Layla by allowing her to appear in a recent episode of reality TV show Basketball Wives Orlando.
Howard not only seeks to cut off child support but he wants primary custody of the teenager.

Howard was sued by a man named Stephen Harper who claimed he was sexually abused and forced into a threesome with another man at Howard’s Georgia mansion. Howard admitted to having consensual sex with the men but he vigorously denied the assault allegations.
In his lawsuit, Harper claimed the assault took place while Howard’s youngest son, David, was asleep in the house. David’s mom, real estate agent Melissa Rios died after suffering a seizure in 2020.
A judge has yet to rule on the lawsuit.
