Former NBA star Dwight Howard responded to 50 cent saying he and actor Denzel Washington thought Howard was “alright.”
50 Cent made the comment in an Instagram post in which he shared a photo of Howard talking to him and Washington at an NBA game on April 12, 2013.
The rap mogul explained that TDE founder Anthony Tiffith told him he “made eye contact” with Howard in the photo.
50 Cent wrote in the caption: “Man me and Denzel thought that mother fvcker was alright man… WTF.”
Howard is in the midst of a sexual assault lawsuit filed by an Atlanta man who accused him of sexual assault.
Howard responded to 50’s post, writing, “Glad I put a smile on your face,” alongside a crying laughing emoji.
Last month, Howard admitted having “consensual s*xual activity” with men after a man named Stephen Harper filed a sexual assault lawsuit against him.
Harper accused Howard of sexual assault and battery as well as inflicting emotional distress and false imprisonment.
In an Instagram Live video, Howard said, “Y’all can stop with the nonsense, worried about all this bullcrap. Mind your business.”
He continued:
“Whatever I’m doing in my bedroom is my damn business. Whatever you’re doing in your bedroom is your damn business, that ain’t for everybody… This sh-t didn’t even happen. You worried about the wrong stuff. That’s why it’s called an accusation. Allegedly. Come on, man.”
In a statement, Howard said Harper filed the lawsuit for money and greed. He accused Harper of making “continuous attempts to elicit payment,” which Howard considers to be extortion.
