Kanye West believes his “creepy” ex personal trainer Harley Pasternak has been following him in Dubai.
Pasternak is the former employee who threatened to have Kanye recommitted to a mental hospital after he was kicked off of Twitter and Instagram for making antisemitic remarks in 2022.
Photos and video obtained exclusively by DailyMail.com show Pasternak loitering in the lobby of a hotel in Dubai where West is staying with his four children.
West and his children traveled from Italy to Dubai after his wife, Bianca, split and fled back home to Australia.
West is keeping a low profile in Dubai. Sources say he is paranoid and fearful that Pasternak is there to kidnap his kids and take them back to the U.S.
West shares North, 10, Saint, 7, Chicago, 5, and 4-year-old Psalm with Hollywood socialite and aspiring lawyer Kim Kardashian, 43.
A source told DailyMail.com that Pasternak’s presence in the hotel is “extremely suspect”.
“We have grave concerns as to what this creepy operative is doing in Ye’s hotel. We are very concerned indeed about his motives and intentions,” the source said.
“This is the man who threatened to ‘drug Ye to Zombieland’. Why has he suddenly shown up here?”
Other sources say Kim may have sent Pasternak to check on her children – whom she hasn’t seen since last month.
Children are better off with fathers in general, but West has a documented history of mental problems.
West, 46, was first hospitalized in November 2016 after suffering a psychotic episode at Pasternak’s home in West Hollywood. West later said the mental breakdown was brought on by sleep deprivation and extreme dehydration.
His hospitalization followed a Twitter posting frenzy, and rants at his concerts.
In November 2022, West leaked alleged text messages from Pasternak in which his former employee reportedly threatened to have him “institutionalized again” in the wake of the musician’s anti-Semitic rants.
West shared the text messages on Instagram before he was banned.
“First, you and I sit down and have a loving and open conversation, but you don’t use cuss words, and everything that is discussed is based in fact, and not some crazy stuff that dumb friend of yours told you, or you saw in a tweet.
“Second option. I have you institutionalized again where they medicate the crap out of you, and you go back to Zombieland forever. Play date with the kids just won’t be the same.”
West said he had been “mentally misdiagnosed” by doctors who said he was bipolar in 2016.
“What should be obvious by now is that I was raised to stand for my truth regardless of the consequences,” he wrote on Instagram in 2022.
“So I will say this again I was mentally misdiagnosed and nearly drugged out of my mind to make me a manageable well-behaved celebrity.”
West’s eldest daughter, North, reportedly said she prefers living with her father in his new penthouse apartment in West Hollywood.
Kim Kardashian recently shared what North told her in an episode of The Kardashians on E! Network.
“She’ll be like, ‘Dad is the best. He has it all figured out. He doesn’t have a nanny, he doesn’t have a chef, he doesn’t have security. He lives in an apartment.’ And she’ll start crying, ‘Why don’t you have an apartment? I can’t believe we don’t have an apartment.'”
West recently rented two spacious penthouse apartments in a ritzy West Hollywood neighborhood, according to Backgrid.com. The 3 bedroom, 2 bathroom penthouse apartments each rent for approximately $24,000 a month.
An insider told Backgrid.com West is believed to have rented 2 of the four top floor apartments for over $50,000 a month. The property includes a private rooftop patio area that is believed to belong to one of his apartments. The apartment building is only a few blocks away from West’s studio/office.
