Iman Shumpert was awarded temporary parenting time with his daughters by singer/actress Teyana Taylor.

At a hearing last week, a judge awarded Iman joint custody time with their kids, Iman “Junie” Shumpert Jr., 7, and Rue Rose, 3, according to court documents obtained by RadarOnline.com.

Iman will have the girls 4-6 days out of the month or 2-3 weekends a month. He was ordered to pick up his kids at Teyana’s home and drop them back off after spending quality time with them.

Teyana demanded primary custody of their kids and child support after secretly filing for divorce in January.

As part of her divorce filing, Teyana will continue to have primary custody of the children and they will celebrate Christmas with her.

Teyana claimed Iman was not fit to have the children temporarily because of his “nonchalant” attitude around the girls.

She claimed he did not take into account their children were famous.

She said that her daughters often “appear to be disheveled” and “are not fed properly” while in Iman’s care.

Teyana said, “she has been the primary caretaker of the minor children since their births and that it would be in the best interests of” their children to live with her.

In court papers, Teyana accused Iman of being an insecure narcissist who was jealous of her success.

In his response, Iman agreed that child support should be paid but he asked the court to determine the amount.

He denied being irresponsible around the children and he asked the court not to award Teyana spousal support, since he’s an unemployed NBA player.

Iman also denied Teyana’s claim that he used an insurance check on himself instead of fixing their leaky roof.

Teyana’s net worth was $6 million in liquid assets as of 2022.
