Rapper Kodak Black is back in federal prison following his arrest on cocaine possession charges on December 7 in Plantation, Florida.

Police spotted the “ZEZE” rapper asleep behind the wheel of his Bentley SUV which was parked in the roadway with the engine still running.

When cops opened the door of the SUV, they noticed a strong odor of marijuana and alcohol. The police report states Black had white powder residue in his mouth and also a rock-like substance in a clear cellophane baggie near him.

Black stated the substance in the baggie was Percocet (a narcotic pain reliever). However, the substance tested positive for cocaine. Black was charged with cocaine possession, tampering with or fabricating physical evidence and improper stop, stand or park.

According to documents obtained by Allhiphop.com, Black, legal name Bill K. Kapri, was released from the Plantation jail and immediately taken into custody by federal agents.

He is currently being held in a federal detention center in downtown Miami. A detention hearing is set for Dec. 19 at 1:30 p.m. EST.

Former President Trump pardoned Black in 2021, but a Florida judge granted a government request to restart Black’s probation for violating the terms of his supervised release.

Black may be transferred from FDC Miami to an out of state federal prison to complete his 3-year sentence for weapons possession.
