Deborah recently filed for a temporary restraining order alleging physical abuse by her 30-year-old son. She claimed Raman attacked her and Doja Cat on multiple occasions.

Additionally, Deborah accused Raman of stealing and destroying the singer/rapper’s property.

The application for a protective order, obtained by TMZ, states that Raman had caused cuts and bruises on Doja’s face, as well as knocked out some of her teeth.

The filing claimed that Raman’s physical and verbal abuse made Doja feel “unsafe and traumatized.”

A court granted Deborah’s request for a restraining order for herself, but Doja will have to file her own application for a restraining order.

So far, Doja (real name Amala Dlamini) hasn’t commented publicly on the allegations.

The 28-year-old singer/rapper and her brother, Raman, were raised by Deborah, who is Jewish, and their father, Dumisani Dlamini, a South African of Zulu descent.

Doja faced backlash in 2018 when a search of her Twitter history revealed a 2015 tweet with the word fa**ot” to describe rappers Tyler, the Creator and Earl Sweatshirt.

Doja later apologized. But she faced more criticism when an unreleased song from 2015 titled “Dindu Nuffin” surfaced online.

Doja denied that the song was about Sandra Bland, a Black woman who died of suicide in a Waller County, Texas jail on July 13, 2015.
