Charges have been dropped against the wife of Pittsburgh Steelers quarterback Dwayne Haskins who knocked his tooth out during a domestic violence incident.

The Clark County District Attorney's dropped a felony abuse charge against Kalabrya Gondrezick-Haskins since her husband declined to testify against her.

Court records obtained by TMZ show Kalabrya caused "substantial" injuries to Haskins - including knocking his tooth out - during an altercation in Las Vegas back in July.

In addition, police noted that Haskins had a busted lip when they arrived to check on him after he was attacked in their hotel room.

The dispute arose because Kalabrya was upset that he spent too much time with his boys at a nightclub.

Things went left when he got back to the hotel room that night.

Haskins told police they were in Vegas to celebrate their engagement. He married her anyway, even though she throws hands better than any man.

Fulton County Sheriff's Office

A Georgia sheriff's deputy and her brother were shot and killed during a family dispute overnight. Authorities say a "close relative" is being held for questioning.

The Fulton County Sheriff's Office confirms Deputy Shakeema Brown Jackson was killed, along with one of her brothers in Newton County early Thursday.

Fulton County Sheriff Pat Labat tells Channel 2 Action News that Jackson leaves behind a 17-month-old child.

A close relative is being held for questioning in connection to the murders.

Brown Jackson joined the Fulton County Sheriff's Office in 2018 as a detention officer and became a deputy just last month.

Co-workers remembered her as cheerful and bubbly and always had a positive disposition no matter how disrespectful inmates had been.

She always greeted them with "good morning," earning their respect, Labat said.

"It's a hard time for the sheriff's office and we are asking for everyone's prayers, continued prayers," Labat said.

Grief counselors are available to speak with Fulton County Sheriff's Office employees.

The manhunt for former Austin sheriff's detective Stephen Broderick ended with his arrest on Monday morning.

He was arrested without incident after motorists spotted a suspicious man walking along a highway at 7:30 a.m.

As he was placed in handcuffs, police removed a loaded handgun from his waistband.

Broderick, 41, was wanted in the shooting deaths of his ex-wife, Amanda Broderick, their adopted teenage daughter, Alyssa, and the girl's boyfriend, Willie Simmons III, 18.

Travis County court records shows Amanda Broderick, 34, filed for a restraining order in June 2020 after her daughter, Alyssa, 17, accused her father of touching her inappropriately.

Alyssa said Broderick had raped her repeatedly in the past. The protective order was approved by a judge about three weeks after Amanda first accused Broderick of raping Alyssa.

In her application, Amanda (pictured) said she was "afraid he will try to hurt me and my children." She said Broderick was "SWAT trained" and "If he wanted to hurt someone, he would know how."

In June 2020, three days after the alleged rape, U.S. Marshals arrested Broderick. He was booked into the Travis County Jail, where he spent 16 days before posting a bail of $50,000.

The former Travis County sheriff's detective was placed on administrative leave. He later lost his job.

A judge ordered him to wear a GPS ankle monitor and he was prohibited from possessing firearms, according to an arrest affidavit obtained by KXAN News.

Broderick was prohibited from contacting or going within 200 yards of the teenager.

In court documents, Alyssa said she was afraid that "a protective order will be just a piece of paper" to her father.

In November, a judge ordered the ankle monitor to be removed. Broderick's lawyer argued that his client wore the GPS monitor for nearly 150 days with no violations.

On Sunday, Broderick arranged a meeting with Amanda for a scheduled visit with the couple's minor son. Broderick rammed his car into Amanda's vehicle at an apartment complex in northwest Austin.

Broderick fired multiple shots, killing all three victims, before fleeing the scene on foot, police said in a statement.

Responding officers found the three victims with gunshot wounds lying near the two vehicles. They were pronounced dead at the scene.

The couple's minor son was not injured. A witness removed the boy from the scene and turned him over to Austin police officers.

A Pennsylvania mom faces charges of fatally shooting her children, including a female-to-male trans.

Krisinda Bright, 48, is accused of fatally shooting her 16-year-old bio daughter, Kiara Bright, a male-identified trans who went by the name Jeffery "JJ" Bright.

Friends say Kiara transitioned at age 11.

Bright also fatally shot her second daughter, Jasmine Cannady, 22.

Interim Police Chief John DeLuca told reporters that, after shooting her children, Bright called 911 and went outside to meet emergency responders and police, WTAE reported.

Bright told dispatchers she shot her children and that the gun she used was unloaded and on the dining room table.

She said she shot one of her children while she was lying in bed. Then she went downstairs and pointed the weapon at her second child, who pleaded with her, saying, "Please don't shoot."

Bright said the gun misfired, but she fixed the jam and then shot her daughter in the face. The child was still moving, so Bright went upstairs to retrieve another weapon before returning and shooting her again because she didn't want the child "to suffer," according to the police report.

Both victims were shot in the head and face, according to the complaint.

Bright is facing two counts of criminal homicide. She is being held without bond in the Beaver County Jail.
