“Fat Joe on Ozempic” trended on social media Tuesday after fans confused Jada Pinkett Smith for the rapper.
Jada’s first selfie of the New Year went viral on Tuesday when fans thought Jada was rapper Fat Joe showing off his Ozempic weight loss.
In the photo, Jada was dressed in an exotic fur vest with white jeans and leg warmers. She also shaved her head bald.
Jada, 52, captioned the selfie: “I think jean leg warmers is where it’s at for me in 2024.”
Fat Joe, 53, and Pitbull, 42, immediately began trending, as fans confused them for the mom-of-three.
“I thought Fat Joe got his hands on some ozempic,” one follower wrote, while another shared, “She look like Skinny Joe.”
Another person wrote: “I was bout to congratulate Fat Joe on more weight loss.”
While another Instagram user said: “I’m proud of Fat Joe, he’s come a long way.”
Rapper Pitbull’s fans were also confused by Jada’s selfie.
“Pitbull got a cool new jacket… oh wait,” wrote one fan, while another person added, “I have never been so confused: Pitbull, Fat Joe, The Rock, everything fits.”
Jada has not yet commented on the confusion, but many of the comments under her post were positive. She eventually turned off the comments under the post.
