Last year, a judge granted Keke Palmer’s request for a domestic violence restraining order against her ex-boyfriend, Darius Jackson.

The restraining order has been extended for another 6 months, The Blast reports.

According to court documents obtained by The Blast, Palmer and Jackson agreed to attend a hearing on the domestic violence allegations sometime later this year. The hearing was scheduled for Tuesday, January 9, but it has been postponed.

The news comes a day after Palmer made history as the first Black female to win the Outstanding Host for a Game Show Emmy for hosting “Password.” She is also the first woman to win the award in 15 years.

The award ceremony was held in downtown Los Angeles on Sunday, Jan. 7.

In her request for a restraining order last year, Palmer accused Jackson of physical abuse and she feared for her son’s safety.

“Darius trespassed into my home without my knowledge or consent, threatened me, then physically attacked me – lunging for my neck, striking me, throwing me over the couch, and stealing my phone when I told him I was going to call the police,” the actress alleged.

The agreement includes a six month extension of the temporary restraining order barring Jackson from going near Palmer and their toddler son, Leodis.

Jackson was also ordered to turn in his gun to the police.

She further claimed Jackson jeopardized their then 8-month-old son’s safety during a September altercation.

“On September 26, 2023, I was concerned for Leo’s safety after Darius became very frustrated with him when Leo was crying while Darius changed his diaper. Darius started getting rough with Leo physically and I stepped in to make sure Darius would not hurt him,” she said.

Palmer added, “Darius was angry and it almost became a tug of war with Leo. Darius finally let go and Leo was not harmed, but as I was holding Leo trying to comfort him and finish changing his diaper, Darius hit me in the head before storming out of the room.”

In December, Jackson filed a countersuit and claimed Palmer, born Lauren Keyana Palmer, was the aggressive one in the relationship.

Jackson filed for a restraining order against the actress, alleging that she was “the primary aggressor” and “engaged in abusive conduct throughout their two-and-a-half-year relationship.”

Jackson’s countersuit cited allegations of alleged abuse by the former Nickelodeon child star.

He cited an August 20, 2021 incident where “Lauren punched Darius in the face at a birthday party.”

He also alleged she vandalized his car and threatened bodily harm.

“On November 17, 2021, after Darius told her he would not spend the night with her, Lauren called him over 200 times and sent him over 50 emails,” the filing stated.

Palmer also allegedly choked Jackson and called him names such as a “b–ch, a punk a–, and a loser.”

“I believe it is in our son’s best interests for Petitioner and I to share custody,” Jackson said in the court filing.

He added that Palmer has refused to allow him to see Leodis since obtaining her temporary restraining order.
