Kenya Moore says NeNe Leakes’ fans can forget about their fave returning to “Real Housewives of Atlanta.”
During an appearance on the Tamron Hall Show, Kenya was asked about NeNe possibly returning to the show.
“I don’t know about that,” Kenya told Tamron. “That question has been asked a lot of times but according to our boss, that door is closed.”
Kenya was also asked about Kandi Burruss’s sudden departure from the show after 14 seasons.
Without going into details, Kenya said Bravo “was taking too long” in negotiations with the cast after the writer’s strike ended.
“And so, we started making moves. She started doing other projects,” she told Tamron. “I started doing this project. I’m working on Kenya Moore Hair Care… I opened a hair salon in Atlanta [and] I started focusing on other things.”
Kenya said Kandi will be fine because “she is that girl.”
YouTuber Michelle “ATLien” Brown speculated that Kandi was fired, but Andy Cohen said the mom-of-three quit and she is welcome to return to the series next season.
Kenya, 53, visited Tamron’s show to promote her Lifetime movie “Abducted off the Street: The Carlesha Gaither Story.”

Last year, Kenya was linked to a successful restaurateur named Roi Shlomo.
“Roi has been someone that I’ve known for a while, over a year, as friends and I just think we have a lot in common,” she told Entertainment Tonight. “We have friends in common, likes in common and, if nothing else, a great friendship.”
RHOA cast member Marlo Hampton says she also dated Roi, but Kenya denied her claim.
“It’s not true,” Kenya said. “It’s 100 percent not true. She makes up everything. You can’t believe a word that comes out of her mouth.”
Rumor has it that Kenya, Porsha Williams, Marlo, and maybe Phaedra Parks are returning to RHOA.
Instagram model Moriah Mills is slated to be a “friend” of the show.
