Comedienne Mo’Nique dragged Tiffany Haddish for bringing up her husband’s name in an old interview.
Mo’Nique joined Shannon Sharpe in a nearly 3-hour episode of Club Shay Shay that premiered Wednesday.
Mo’Nique, 56, sued Netflix for racial and gender bias in 2019.
Mo’ complained that she was paid $500,000 for a TV special, while fellow comedians Amy Schumer and Chris Rock were paid millions.
But Tiffany, 44, defended Netflix in an interview with GQ magazine in 2018.
Tiffany said she would not protest Netflix because the network’s shows were diverse.
“I’m not gonna protest because somebody got offered not the amount of money they wanted,” Tiffany told GQ.
“If you don’t like what they’re offering you, just no longer do business with them,” she added.
Tiffany also mentioned Mo’Nique’s husband and manager Sidney Hicks.
“My business run different than her business. I don’t live her life. I don’t have that husband of hers.”
In her interview with Shannon, Mo’Nique responded to Tiffany disparaging her husband.
“And when I saw that, I said, ‘Tiffany, if you had a husband like mine, you may not have two DUIs. If you had a husband like mine, you may not be caught up in what looks like you could have been grooming a child.'”
Mo’Nique added: “And I say all of that with no judgment. But when you speak about having a husband like mine, you open up the door. And I’m saying to you, if you had one like mine, you may not sit in these positions that you can’t explain the next day.”
“She don’t even have a husband – let alone like yours,” Shannon said.
Mo’Nique was referring to a lawsuit filed by two siblings in August 2022.
The siblings accused Tiffany and fellow comic Aries Spears of s*xually abusing them when they were children.
Tiffany and Aries reportedly settled with the siblings for an undisclosed amount.
