Beyonce teased new music in an ad that aired during the Super Bowl on Sunday.
After the ad aired, she released official visualizers for 2 songs off her new album.
The songs, titled “16 Carriages” and “Texas Hold ‘Em” will be featured on her new album, Act II, set for release on March 29.
Her 2022 album, Renaissance, was referred to as Act I.
In the first visualizer for “Texas Hold ‘Em,” Beyonce wears a black leather vest and sheer black tights with an empty gun holster. She draws an imaginary gun from the holster and fires off shots with her fingers.
In the B&W visualizer for “16 Carriages,” Beyonce wears a bedazzled cowboy hat and matching dress by Louis Vuitton.
Country music fans left ecstatic reviews for Beyonce on YouTube.
One person wrote: “As a longtime fan of both country music and Beyoncé, my soul is swelling with joy and peace hearing this song.”
Another fan wrote: “This song make me want to look outside the window thinking about life with tears rolling down my eyes…. BEYONCÉ 16 Carrigaes [sic] is a gorgeous song.”
And a third person wrote: “Protect her at all costs! Yall don’t know how monumental this is. She is rearranging this industry!!!!”
Another fan explained: “She did this to support the black artists that’s going back to their roots of country music. The originators of country were black people but of course never publicized. Thank you for everything B!”
