Porsha Williams confirmed she is returning to “The Real Housewives of Atlanta” for season 16. But her husband, Nigerian businessman Simon Guobadia may not be joining her.

According to RhymeswithSnitch, Simon’s application for U.S. citizenship was denied again because of his criminal record.

Simon’s immigration issues continue to plague him. His criminal history includes fraud-related charges dating back to the 1980s.

Simon, 59, voluntarily left the US in the early 1990s after committing a series of credit card fraud. He was told not to return. But he reportedly returned to the US with a New York Visa.

Court documents show that his first application for citizenship was denied back in July 2022. He filed again in March 2023, and asked the government to “vacate the denial.”

His third application for citizenship was recently denied as well.

Porsha should have done a background check before she married a man with a criminal history of fraud.

Porsha recently revealed she signed a new scripted deal with NBCUniversal.

Her new deal will provide Porsha with “scripted project opportunities across the company’s broadcast and streaming properties.”

Porsha, 42, departed RHOA in 2012. During her hiatus, she married Simon, co-hosted a radio show on Dish Nation, and starred in a spinoff, “Porsha’s Family Matters,” which was canceled.

She also hosted her own Porsha4Real podcast, and she made an appearance in Season 4 of “The Real Housewives Ultimate Girls Trip.”
