Former First Lady Michelle Obama was noticeably absent from the 2024 Grammy Awards in Los Angeles on Feb, 4.
Obama won her second Grammy for Best Audio Book, Narration, and Storytelling Recording for her book The Light We Carry: Overcoming In Uncertain Times.
She now has the same number of Grammys as her husband, former President Barack Obama.
However, Mrs. Obama was not present to accept her trophy at Crypto.com Arena.
Insiders say Mrs. Obama skipped the awards because she’s preparing to either run for president or to campaign as the vice presidential nominee.
It’s not considered presidential for a potential candidate to rub elbows with celebrities at the Grammy Awards.
Mrs. Obama has been out of the public eye for weeks. She has not confirmed or denied the rampant rumors.

The DOJ paved the way for Mrs. Obama’s rise to power by throwing Biden under the bus on Thursday.
In a long-awaited report, Special Counsel Robert Hur concluded that Biden broke the law by keeping classified documents in his home.
However, Hur said he would not bring charges against Biden, because a jury would find him to be a “sympathetic, well-meaning elderly man with a poor memory.”
Former GOP hopeful Vivek Ramaswamy tells Fox News Digital he predicts the Democrats will recruit Mrs. Obama to replace President Biden at the top of the ticket.
Ramaswamy said the Democrats will solve their “Kamala Harris problem” by recruiting Mrs. Obama to run for president.
“The main obstacle stopping the Democratic Party is they have a Kamala Harris problem,” Ramaswamy said on Thursday.
He added that Harris is hugely unpopular within her own party.
“And I do think Michelle Obama offers them a convenient path out of that problem, somebody who checks the boxes that they need to have checked per their own ideology,” Ramaswamy said.
He continued: “…it’s looking increasingly like it’s not going to be Biden as the nominee. And I think that it should not be shocking to see someone like Michelle Obama take the role of the nomination.”
Ramaswamy said the DOJ report was the first step to “move Biden out of the way.” And open the door for Obama to become the nation’s first Black woman president.
