Part one of “Power Book II: Ghost” debuts on Friday, June 7, and part two premieres on Friday, September 6 at midnight on the STARZ app.

The news comes after actor Michael Rainey Jr. (right), who plays Tariq St. Patrick, complained publicly that Starz bosses were “disrespectful.”

Referring to himself as one of the network’s “top earners”, Rainey wrote on Instagram, “IT’S LIKE @STARZ FORGOT WHO REALLY CARRYING THIS NETWORK ON THEY SHOULDERS…”

On Thursday, Rainey told TMZ that he was “blindsided” by the show’s cancellation.

Angry fans lashed out at 50 Cent on Twitter/X demanding answers. Fiddy responded with a screengrab of the TMZ article. He captioned the post: “Yeah because @michaelraineyjr don’t answer his phone.”

Starz also announced a fourth “Power” spin-off series, titled “Origins.” The new series will follow the backstories of fan favorite characters Ghost and Tommy.
