Police released the full bodycam video of Memphis rapper GloRilla’s drunk driving arrest in Gwinnett County, Georgia on Tuesday.
GloRilla, born Gloria Hallelujah Woods, reeked of alcohol when she was pulled over by a Suwanee cop.
Woods allegedly made an illegal U-turn at a red light at 4 a.m. Police said Woods’ eyes were bloodshot and watery.
The footage shows the talkative rapper repeatedly telling a female officer she was not drunk. Woods admitted drinking alcohol earlier in the evening. She told the officer she lived nearby and was on her way to a Waffle House.
The cop told Woods her car smelled of alcohol and marijuana. Woods failed a series of field sobriety tests, and she refused to take a breathalyzer test.
She was given a plastic container to store all of her jewelry for safekeeping. Unfortunately, she lost an “expensive” diamond earring that rolled under the car. Woods had about $20,000 worth of jewelry on.
A man who arrived at the scene was allowed to take her car.
Woods, 24, was booked into the Gwinnett County Jail, on suspicion of driving under the influence, TMZ reports. She was charged with having an open alcoholic beverage container in the car. She was released on $1,956 bond.
Gwinnett is the wrong county to drive drunk in Georgia. It is one of the safest counties because police are behind every tree.
Only 12% of counties in Georgia are safer than Gwinnett.
