The fallout over DJ Envy’s legal troubles continues. Last Year a group of investors sued DJ Envy and his business partner Cesar Pina for duping them into investing in real estate flips.
Bank statements obtained by the plaintiff’s attorney reveal DJ Envy and Pina earned over $330,000 from their joint seminars alone.
DJ Envy’s request to be removed from the lawsuit was denied last year. On December 20, a judge gave him until January 8, 2024 to produce all financial documents requested by a court-appointed bankruptcy trustee overseeing Pina’s company, Whairhouse LLC.
Now it appears that radio stations around the country are dropping The Breakfast Club from their programming schedules.
According to reports, the NYC radio program is scheduled to be dropped by 105.3 FM in Atlanta.
The news comes as Instagram comedienne Jess Hilarious settles into her new gig as co-host of The Breakfast Club alongside Charlamagne and DJ Envy.
Some radio listeners blame Jess Hilarious for the drop in ratings. But the program’s ratings have been decline for months.
One listener wrote: “The issue is the station wasted too many months floating guests and [Charlamagne] and Envy were very boring alone together. Time is of the essence. I think the era of trolling guests and being nasty is over.”
