Rihanna transformed her hair from natural to a wig with blonde highlights at Paris Fashion Week. “You know how much switching my hair up matters to me,” she said when she announced the launch of Fenty Hair on Instagram.

The mom-of-2 attended the A$AP Rocky X American Sabotage by AWGE Menswear Spring/Summer 2025 fashion show in Paris last week. Gone was her natural pixie haircut that her fans fawned over.

She sat front-row at the fashion show wearing an oversized puffy coat, a white cotton midi T-shirt dress and studded patent leather heels.

Her stylist fitted her in a bone straight lacefront wig with streaky blonde highlights.

Via Allure — “Her hair was blown out and ironed into a stick-straight style, parted in the middle with bangs draping over one eye. And when she told us she was already over being blonde, she apparently wasn’t kidding, because she’s now sporting a cool-tone brown shade. She hasn’t completely let go of the blonde yet, though, because her hair is accented with stripy highlights reminiscent of early-2000s color trends.”

Rihanna, 36, rocked her natural curls while stepping out for a late night dinner in Santa Monica on Friday, June 14.

The pop star revealed she lost her hair after giving birth to sons RZA, 2, and Riot Rose, born August 2023.

In an interview with Refinery29, the beauty guru said her type of hair loss was unexpected.

“I didn’t expect it to happen in waves. I thought it would just happen and grow back,” she said during the Fenty Hair launch party in Los Angeles.

The American Academy of Dermatology Association tells that postpartum hair loss is normal.

“This is normal — and it is not true hair loss. The good news is that this excessive shedding is temporary, and you do not have to do anything to remedy it.”
