After multiple arrests on drugs and assault charges, Chicago rapper Lil Reese has been shipped off to prison.

According to reports, Reese (born Tavares Taylor) was sentenced to 5-10 years for aggravated assault on a family member.

According to TMZ, Reese was arrested at a Houston nightclub last month for attacking a woman who might be his sister. He was already on probation. The woman suffered injuries to her face and neck after Reese punched and strangled her on the dance floor.

His probation was revoked and he was taken back into custody when he made a court appearance on the assault charge on October 16.

“Damn im finna miss my daughters,” Reese wrote in his Instagram Stories.

The 31-year-old drill rapper was also arrested earlier this year on a rape charge.

Reese later went viral for viciously attacking a woman in a Chicago apartment complex.

Some X users said the streets are safer now that Lil Reese is locked up in prison.

In 2021 Lil Reese was shot during a drug deal gone horribly wrong. Video of the bloody aftermath went viral.
