Michelle Obama is executive producer of a new reality dating series titled “The Later Daters.” The former first lady shared relationship tips in a video with Netflix after the premiere of The Later Daters.

Michelle and former President Barack Obama have been married 32 years and share 2 daughters, Malia and Sasha. After being married for 3 decades, Obama is encouraging single adults over 50 not to give up on love.

“If you’re gonna be out there dating, you’re gonna kiss a few frogs,” she said, after watching a video of a cast member reject a man.

“You know, I’m sure that gentleman is lovely, he’s a handsome man — a little rusty on his game. But she didn’t tear him down, she was very graceful. He probably didn’t even know what he did wrong. That’s why I said next season, he needs the dating coach!” Obama said, referencing dating coach Logan Ury.

Netflix’s new dating series, “The Later Daters,” premiered in November. The eight-episode series follows six adults over the age of 50 as they explore modern dating etiquette. Obama is one of several producers.

“Now, I believe that all of us deserve love and a chance at finding happiness, no matter how old we are. No one has missed the boat, it just hasn’t shown up,” Obama said in a social media video, promoting the series.
