“Empire” actress Serayah McNeil and aspiring rapper Joey Bada$$ are expecting their first child together.
Social media users expressed their excitement when Serayah hit the runway at the AdoreMe fashion show with an obvious baby bump.
Serayah stunned in a red bra and panty set with a sheer white robe. As she reached the end of the runway, she stopped and rubbed her belly with both hands.
Later, during the show’s finale, she did it again, sparking more speculation that she fell pregnant with Joey’s unborn child.
Serayah and Joey Bada$$, 30, went Instagram official in 2023. He rose from obscurity as a freestyle rapper on YouTube at age 17. In 2013, he was chosen for the cover of XXL magazine’s Freshman Class.
Serayah, 29, is best known for her role as Tiana Brown on the FOX TV soap opera drama “Empire.”
Serayah made headlines in 2020 when she commented on Dwyane Wade’s child, Zaya, transitioning from a boy to a girl.
“Let’s not jump to a life-changing decision that will never be undone… That’s serious! That’s really, really serious,” Serayah wrote in a social media video post in February 2020.
She added: “I’m accepting of my child being gay, that’s OK, but there are so many other things around in society that is pressuring children and parents to be a certain type of way. Let’s just take back the reigns, OK?”
Speaking directly to Zaya, Serayah said: “I think everything is a little bit too premature. I don’t care if you’re a boy or a girl. For me, there’s things we need to be worried about at this time. What do you wanna do in life? Do you wanna be in any (sports) activities?”
She concluded: “It’s OK! We’re just not gonna go there right now. Let’s wait ’til you get a little bit older, and this is exactly what you want to do and be for the rest of your life.”
