England’s Prince William plans to strip Meghan Markle of the HRH title when he becomes king. The late Queen of England stripped Meghan and Prince Harry of their HRH (His/Her Royal Highness) titles after they defected to the West in 2020.
The official statement from the Queen read: “The Sussexes will not use their HRH titles as they are no longer working members of the Royal Family.”
Sources say Meghan and Harry promised the Queen they would stop using their HRH titles after they fled England in 2020. But Meghan continues to use her HRH title in personal letters and emails.

So far, King Charles hasn’t done anything about it, but Prince William won’t hesitate to strip Meghan of her title when he becomes king.
“There is no way King William will stand for this. The titles will simply be removed when he is king. A way will be found,” a friend of William’s told the Daily Beast.

Meghan and Prince Harry were seen out and about in New York on April 23. She wore a Ralph Lauren pantsuit that retails for $5,000.
Two weeks ago, Meghan published a letter she received, addressing her as, “Your Royal Highness.”
Then, it was revealed that Meghan sent Jamie Kern Lima a gift basket of “homemade strawberry sauce” along with a note saying: “With the Compliments of HRH The Duchess of Sussex.”

A source close to Meghan said: “Harry and Meghan retain their HRH titles; however, by agreement, they do not use them for commercial purposes. While they do not publicly use ‘HRH,’ this was a personal gift, and their titles remain.”
But a royal source called rubbish on that explanation.
The source told the Daily Beast: “Charles might be happy to put up with this, but William won’t. He loathes and despises Harry and Meghan with every bone in his body, he believes they have betrayed everything the family stands for and the idea that they are using their royal status as a calling card will enrage him.”
