A photo of Shedeur Sanders and his mother, Pilar, is going viral and sparking confusion on social media. The cause of the confusion is Pilar’s youthful appearance. The 51-year-old mom-of-3 is unrecognizable in the photo.
Fans took to social media to praise the glamorous cougar.
“Pilar is beautiful,” one fan wrote. “Just gorgeous,” someone else wrote.
But others wondered if there was some sorcery going on.
Those who remember Pilar from the family’s reality TV series did a double take when they saw the new photo of her.
“Who is she?” one person wrote. “Is that Shedeur’s girlfriend?” another person wrote.
A third person wondered what type of filter Pilar used on the photo.
Pilar and Deion are pictured with her two step kids, Deiondra and Deion Jr., back in 2008.
Shedeur is in the headlines because today is NFL Draft day and the former Colorado quarterback is expected to be drafted high in the first round.
There are multiple reports that Shedeur and former teammate Travis Hunter, the Heisman trophy winner, might fall out of the top 3 in the draft.
But Shedeur says he doesn’t care what sports writers say. At one point he threatened to sit out of Thursday’s NFL draft.
CBS Sports’ Jonathan Jones reported Wednesday that “there’s a very good chance” Shedeur might go in the second round.
That would mean NFL coaches don’t think very highly of Sheduer’s talent and skills as a quarterback.
The NFL draft begins at 8 p.m. April 24.
