Casandra “Cassie” Ventura revealed the substantial settlement she received after filing a lawsuit against her ex-boyfriend, Sean Combs, in November 2023.
Combs, 55, was arrested in September 2024 and charged with sex trafficking and racketeering. Cassie, 38, is a key witness in the federal prosecutor’s case against Combs.
On her 2nd day of testimony on Wednesday, May 14, Cassie was asked how much money she received to settle her lawsuit against Combs.
“Who paid you $20 million?” prosecutor Emily Johnson asked Cassie during Combs’ sex-trafficking trial on Wednesday.
“Sean and his companies,” Cassie responded.
The amount is less than the $30 million previously reported by media outlets in 2023. About half of the settlement went to her attorneys for legal fees.

Cassie and her husband Alex Fine are pictured in London in March of this year. She is eight months pregnant with their third child – a boy. They also share 2 daughters.
In her lawsuit against Combs, filed on November 16, 2023, Cassie accused him of rape and abuse during their 10-year relationship.
Combs quickly settled the lawsuit just a day later, on Nov. 17, 2023.

“This evening, Ms. Ventura and Mr. Combs resolved the claims that she filed against him yesterday in the United States District Court for the Southern District of New York to their mutual satisfaction,” Cassie’s attorney, Douglas Wigdor wrote in a statement in 2023.
“I am very proud of Ms. Ventura for having the strength to go public with her lawsuit. She ought to be commended for doing so,” Mr. Wigdor added.
Cassie said in a statement: “I have decided to resolve this matter amicably on terms that I have some level of control. I want to thank my family, fans and lawyers for their unwavering support.”
Despite the 8-figure settlement, Cassie spilled all of the scandalous details of their depraved swinger lifestyle on the witness stand in court.
She was given immunity from prosecution for her role in their alleged crimes.
