Comedienne Mo’Nique scolded Shannon Sharpe after she tried to warn him about messing around with younger women.
During an October 2023 appearance on Shannon’s “Club Shay Shay” podcast, Mo’Nique told Shannon: “You betta take yo old ass and get somebody to love you! … He need him an old fat gal who can bake good cakes, make some smothered turkey wings, who gone rub his feet at the night time and have a sip of his cognac to make him feel better about himself when he come home at night.”
Mo’Nique, 57, told Shannon that he doesn’t need “no 26-year-old girl, you don’t need no 36-year-old girl.”
But Shannon responded enthusiastically, “I do!”
In a recent standup routine, Mo’Nique told the crowd, “Yes I told that ni**a Shannon Sharpe leave that white b—h alone!”
An OF model sued Shannon for $50 million last month. She alleged that he raped her multiple times and physically abused her. But Shannon provided text messages that prove their BDSM encounters were consensual.
Shannon, 56, has since stepped away from his gig as a co-host on ESPN’s “First Take.”
The former NFL star has a troubling history of being aggressive with women. He has been sued multiple times and he reportedly settled the lawsuits.
