Two of 10 inmates who escaped from a New Orleans jail on May 16 are still at large. Escapee Antoine Massey, 31, was seen in a viral cellphone video enjoying Memorial Day at an undisclosed location.
Derrick Groves, 27, is the other inmate still on the loose as of Tuesday morning.
Eight inmates have been captured by police and U.S. Marshals. Those inmates were transferred to the notorious Angola prison in Louisiana.
A jail worker was arrested and charged with helping them to escape under a toilet in a jail cell. Sterling Williams, a 33-year-old maintenance worker, was arrested after he admitted to turning off the water in the cell.
At least a dozen other people were arrested for helping the escapees.
“Antoine and Derrick — you are NEXT!” Louisiana Gov. Jeff Landry wrote in a post on X on Monday night.

Authorities believe Antoine Massey was the mastermind behind the jailbreak.
The four-time jail escapee is seen in the video wearing a white tank top and grey swimming trunks. He altered his look by cutting off his braids.
“I’ve been gone for 13 summers. I ain’t been swimming since 2013,” Massey said to the camera before jumping into a swimming pool.
According to Instagram blogger Kollege Kidd, Massey’s father was best friends with Lil Wayne’s deceased stepfather Reginald “Rabbit” McDonald. Lil Wayne, 42, is a native of New Orleans, Louisiana.
