A Christian singer who prayed with President Donald Trump admits to preying on men for indecent purposes. Grammy-winning singer Michael Tait (right) prayed over Donald Trump during an “Evangelicals for Trump” campaign in Miami, Florida in 2020.
In an emotional Instagram post titled “My Confession” on June 10, Tait admitted to living a “double life” and he “touched men in an unwanted sensual way.”
Tait said the allegations against him “are sadly, largely true.”
He admitted the behavior contradicted with the Christian values in which he was raised. “I will simply call it what God calls it – sin,” he wrote.
He continued: “I don’t blame anyone or anything but myself. While I dispute certain details in the accusations against me, I do not dispute the substance of them.”

Tait, 59, came clean in his IG post after several young men accused him of having a “predatory pattern” toward men.
The Christian outlet The Roys Report published the allegations on Friday.
“Recent reports of my reckless and destructive behavior, including drug and alcohol abuse and sexual activity are sadly, largely true,” Tait wrote. “For some two decades I used and abused cocaine, consumed far too much alcohol and, at times, touched men in an unwanted sensual way.”
He continued, “I am ashamed of my life choices and actions and make no excuses for them. I will simply call it what God calls it – sin.”
