As one celebrity couple’s relationship goes down in flames, another couple has happily reunited. Eva Marcille and Michael Sterling confirmed they are officially back together.
Two years ago, the couple threw in the towel and announced their divorce after 5 years of marriage. Eva, a mother-of-three, called the divorce “One of the hardest decisions” she ever had to make.
Sandrarose.com broke the news in March 2023 that Eva filed for divorce at the Superior Court of Fulton County in Atlanta.
In court documents, obtained by Sandrarose.com, Eva stated the marriage was “irretrievably broken” and “there are no prospects for a reconciliation.”
In a statement to PEOPLE at the time, Eva said “This has been one of the hardest decisions I have ever had to make, but sometimes life takes your journey in a direction you were not expecting.”
She added: “Our children remain our biggest priority and the eight and half years we have spent together will always be cherished. We ask that you respect our privacy at this time.”
The 40-year-old America’s Next Top Model winner was devastated over Michael’s alleged flings with other women. She lost a lot of weight and looked depressed.
Eva and Michael tied the knot in October 2018, six months after they welcomed their son, Michael Jr. She gave birth to another son, Maverick, in September 2019. Eva also has a daughter by singer Kevin McCall.
Eva took to Instagram to share a video clip of herself with Michael at the Essence Festival in New Orleans over the weekend.
“Happy Essence! I’m floating soft launch #ganggang,” she wrote in the caption.
Eva’s followers were thrilled for her. One person wrote: “To be honest she even looks better and healthier. So I’m for it, good luck to you guys!”
Another person wrote: “She loves that man down!!!!!”
A third follower wrote: “Always rooting for family love All the very best.”
