Update: GloRilla spoke out following her arrest on felony drug possession charges in Georgia.
GloRilla, real name Gloria Hallelujah Woods, was booked into the Forsyth County Jail on Tuesday – and released on $22,000 bond the same day.
In a post on X (Twitter) on Thursday, GloRilla demanded to know why police arrested her for possession of marijuana instead of the criminals who broke into her house.

Forsyth County Sehriff’s deputies investigated a report of an attempted home invasion at GoRilla’s Georgia home early Saturday morning.
GloRilla was away in Indianapolis performing at the WNBA All-Star game on Saturday when the thieves broke into her home.
According to the Forsyth County Sheriff’s Office in a statement: “Three suspects had entered the home and were in the process of stealing items when an armed occupant fired at the intruders. The suspects fled the scene, and it does not appear that any of them were struck.”

While at the residence, police discovered “a significant amount of marijuana” in the master bedroom of her home.
The rapper was arrested on Tuesday, July 22. The 25-year-old Memphis-born rapper was charged with possession of marijuana and possession of a controlled substance.
The arrest comes more than a year after GloRilla was charged with driving under the influence in Georgia.
