Major League Baseball legend David Justice sat down with former NBA player Matt Barnes for an episode of his “All the Smoke” podcast.
Justice, 59, is catching heat for saying he divorced actress Halle Berry because she couldn’t cook or clean and she wasn’t “motherly”.
David and Halle, 58, were married from 1993 to 1997.
Justice eventually met his future wife: Rebecca Villalobos, a businesswoman who cooks, cleans and is a great mother.
They were married on February 8, 2001, and share three children: David Jr., Dionisio, and Raquel.
Now Justice is being criticized on social media as a toxic misogynist for his views on traditional wives and motherhood.
One X user wrote: “That ni**a talking about Halle berry got me tight. The audacity you should be grateful a b**ch on that caliber even looked your way.”
Another person wrote: “This conversation about Halle Berry and what it means to be a wife is showing how some men don’t really want a wife you guys wants someone to replace your. Mom that’s something you gotta work on in therapy.”
