Singer D4vd has been removed from an ad campaign after a woman’s badly decomposed body was found in a Tesla registered to him.
In a statement given to Footwear News, Hollister and Crocs said the singer was removed from their campaign.
“We are aware of this developing story. With respect to the current situation, we have removed campaign content featuring D4vd while the investigation continues,” Hollister and Crocs said.

D4vd, 20, shared an image on social media on Sept. 4 that showed him wearing clothing from the line.
He captioned the post, “who wants some d4vd crocs.”

Police were called to a Hollywood tow yard on Sept. 8 after workers detected a foul odor coming from a car. Officers made the grisly discovery in the front trunk of D4vd’s Tesla.
The woman’s chopped up body was stuffed inside a black garbage bag.
Officials told NBC4 that the Tesla had been parked in the Hollywood Hills for nearly a month. D4vd’s tour kicked off on August 5 in Del Mar, California.
The Tesla, which had Texas license plates, was registered to David Anthony Burke, D4vd’s real name.
There are six remaining dates of D4vd’s “Withering” tour in the U.S. The European leg of the tour kicks off on Oct. 1 in Oslo, Norway.
“D4vd has been informed about what’s happened. And, although he is still out on tour, he is fully cooperating with the authorities,” a spokesperson for the singer told NBC4 LA Tuesday.
