Mariah Carey says Michael Jackson’s estate is standing in the way of her releasing a secret song in her vault.
During an appearance on Andy Cohen’s show “Watch What Happens Live” on Wednesday night, Mariah said she worked with the late pop icon on a song that was never released.
She also has a song with the late music icon Prince that was never finished.
The songbird is busy promoting her 16th studio album, Here For It All, and said that she wanted her song with Michael to be on the album.

Mariah explained that Michael’s estate doesn’t want her song to overshadow an upcoming MJ project.
However, sources say she used AI to complete the song, and Michael’s estate slammed the brakes on the project.
Music industry insiders are wary of using AI to bring artists back to life. Once the floodgates are opened, it’s difficult to control the cash flow.
“I’m so upset it’s not coming out on this album. It should be on there,” Mariah told Andy. “Every time I would play it for somebody, they would [say], ‘Wow.'”
She hopes one day his estate will change their minds and approve the release of the song.
Promoters previously took a hologram Michael on tour, but his fans weren’t buying it and the tour flopped.
