Besties Ciara, Kelly Rowland and La La Anthony sat down on Level Up Radio for a girls talk about red flags in relationships, and the true meaning of friendship on Wednesday, Nov. 19.
The ladies laughed and joked about Ciara’s husband, Russell Wilson, barging in on their conversations and his inability to leave the room when women are talking.
“Russ is nosy,” said Kelly, who is currently on tour with Brandy & Monica. “Russ be in the middle – “yo, yo, yo!'” she joked.
La La declared, “He’s all in my business!”
Kelly said Russell constantly jumps in the middle of their girl talk conversations. But La La is fine with Russ dominating their girls talk.
“I like his input because sometimes you do need the male perspective,” La La said.
She appreciates Russell telling her what she’s doing wrong in the dating world.
At one point, La La told Ciara “I’m around him a lot,” which seemed to catch CiCi and Kelly off guard.
“Y’all have your own thing with Russ,” said Ciara. “So my point is if there’s [a discussion] that’s like love-related, not deep, I’ll be like ‘Babe, we got it.'”
The women were talking over each other, but the room fell silent when La La seemed to thank Ciara for sharing Russell with her and for giving her “the space” to confide in him.
La La seemed thankful that Russell is the one who suggests they “check on La.”
Kelly seemed to give La La the side eye when she said that part.
After a pause in the discussion, Kelly said, “It’s really funny when he interjects in the conversation… ‘Yeah Russ, we talking about you.'”
Relationship experts warn women to keep their husbands away from their friends. But Ciara seems to be the sharing is caring type. Hopefully her generosity won’t backfire on her.
