Calm down, men. Summer Walker isn’t sending a dump truck to collect your belongings. The R&B singer gave men a scare when she announced her Finally Over It dump truck service in Atlanta this week.
In a video, Summer explained that her dump truck will be “riding around Atlanta, coming to pick up your ex’s stuff.”
The video featured a dump truck painted aqua blue with a phone number on the back. However, the phone number was cropped out of the frame in the video.
She said, “Make sure you have it ready. You don’t have to hold on to anything any longer because we are coming to pick that s–t up!”
But it turns out the dump truck service is part of a marketing promotion for Summer’s new album, titled Finally Over It. It is the third album in her “Over It” trilogy, set for release on Friday, November 14.
Summer’s marketing promotion is in collaboration with YouTube, which is sponsoring Summer’s marketing of her third studio album.
The truck made a stop at Spelman College in Atlanta, where students were encouraged to throw out stuff they don’t need. The items will be donated to local charities in Atlanta, according to reports.
