
Former NBA head coach Chauncey Billups sold his Lake Oswego, Oregon home to help pay his legal bills. The Portland Trail Blazers suspended Billups following his arrest on federal gambling charges in October.
According to public records, the house was listed for $3 million and the sale is pending as of Dec. 4.
Billups purchased the 7,300 sq. ft. home through his LLC called Phavored for $3.9 million in July 2021, days after he was named head coach of the Blazers.

The 49-year-old Hall of Famer and former Miami Heat player Terry Rozier, 31, are among 30 people charged in the federal gambling sting operation.
Billups is charged with wire fraud, illegal gambling, and money laundering.
Prosecutors say the Sicilian mafia used Billups as a “face card” to lure high rollers to play rigged poker games.
He pleaded not guilty during an arraignment hearing in Brooklyn last month. His lawyers say he plans to “fight (the) allegations with the same tenacity that marked his 28-year career.”

Sources tell ESPN Billups will not receive his paycheck until after the federal probe is completed.
Billups and his wife, Piper, have three daughters: Cydney, Cenaiya, and Ciara.

Billups and Piper are high school sweethearts. They met when he played for George Washington High School in Denver.
She has her own real estate business in Denver.
He was a standout point guard at the University of Colorado. He was drafted in 1997 by the Boston Celtics. The 5-time NBA All-Star was named the NBA Finals MVP in 2004.
