An Atlanta judge who sentenced reality TV stars Todd and Julie Chrisley to prison in 2022 was reprimanded for having sex with a police officer in her judge’s chambers. She was identified by Bloomberg Law as Judge Eleanor Ross.
Ross was privately reprimanded for having loud sex with a police officer in her chambers within the earshot of law clerks. Judge Ross is married to fellow Judge Brian K Ross.

The officer was identified as Atlanta Police Department Deputy Chief Kelley Collier. Deputy Chief Collier is also married to someone else. He commands the Atlanta Police Department’s community services division, according to Bloomberg Law. Collier has worked for the Atlanta Police Department since 1998.
A report obtained by Bloomberg Law states Judge Eleanor Ross is accused of engaging in sexual intercourse in “chambers and during business hours” with Collier over a two-year period. The report noted the relationship “demonstrated a gross lack of judgment” and resulted in a “chambers workplace that was extremely uncomfortable and troubling for clerks”.
Bloomberg Law reports Judge Eleanor Ross was nominated by President Barack Obama and got the Senate confirmation in 2014. She also served as a state court judge and a federal prosecutor in the Northern District of Georgia.

Judge Ross presided over the bank fraud case of reality television stars Todd and Julie Chrisley. She sentenced them each to prison in 2022 after they were convicted of bank and tax fraud.
President Donald Trump pardoned the Chrisleys in 2025 after they served two years in prison. The Chrisleys are best known for the reality TV series “Chrisley Knows Best,” that aired from 2014 to 2023 on the USA Network.
