Marla captioned the image: “At my age it’s easy to just lay in bed. Then I remember…as long as I’m breathing, I still have a chance to enjoy life. It’s Never Too Late!!! I’m thinking about having a book signing or book discussion event in LA. I’ll keep you all updated.”

Marla is best known for her role as George Jefferson’s feisty maid, Florence Johnston, on the CBS sitcom The Jeffersons (1975–1985).
She also starred in The Jeffersons spin-off “Checking In” (1981) and the NBC sitcom “227” (1985–1990).
Rev. Al Sharpton, 71, also shared an inspirational post on Thursday. He captioned the video: “Morning thoughts during predawn workout.”
In the video clip, Rev. Al discussed a friend of his who was experiencing problems in his personal life. He noticed his friend had a plate of unhealthy food and a “big cocktail,” while sitting with an “unsavory” character.
Rev. Al told the man to let go of his bad habits and bad people that caused his setback. Rev. Al told his followers, “If you want to come back, you can. But you’ve got to drop the things that caused your setback.”
