So rap loon Nicki Minaj, aka Roman Zolanski, is live on Ustream right now and it’s painful to watch because the girl is clearly bipolar. I am not the least bit entertained by her antics at all. If this is the direction that Hip Hop is going in, I’ll get off at the next stop.

Bipolar disorder involves periods of excitability (mania) alternating with periods of depression. The “mood swings” between mania and depression can be very abrupt.

I can’t watch anymore. This is sad.
i just watch a few minutes of her stream. What is she doing that’s crazy? She’s calling fans…. Only thing that is crazy is these kids posting there numbers online. Stop it Sandra.
I LOVE NIKKI!!! i just feel ashamed that all the people she calling are 12 yo:(
@sandra, i know you a fan!
What’s really sad are the folks posting their phone numbers. Blind ( nicki minaj ) leading the Blind ( fans posting phone numbers )
Lord, let nicki minaj experience a vision of hell, so she can see where she and a whole lot of folks are headed if they choose to continue down this illusional lifestyle.
Nicki Minaj has no personality. She borrows little bits and pieces of personalities from everyone she meets. If she didn’t, she would be bored to death with life because she has no life of her own. She’s probably very unpredictable and prone to sudden emotional outbursts. I had a friend who was just like Nicki. I’m glad she’s out of my life.
WOW she deserves damnation for calling her fans?
#everyonesacritic

I wish I had a child and she posted our number on the Internet for Nicki (and the world) to call. I would hope that I instilled more common sense and self esteem in my child.
@ Redeemed & @ SR
somebody needs a Dr. Drew intervention…as long as she ain’t hurting her self or anyone else #kanyeshrug

She’s encouraging children to post their numbers on the Internet. You see nothing wrong with that?
She annoys my soul #thatisall
She does seem crazy. You can call it what you want but no other female rapper had to act like a cartoon character to sell records.
And its not safe that they were posting their numbers online; people on twitter are already reposting them. Doesn’t she think she’s endangering her fans because anyone could call those numbers. “To Catch a Predator” did not catch all the predators.
i do agree, while i find nikki entertaining im not tweeting my number.
thats why everyone she calling is 18 and younger, no common sense! but im a fan manic-depressive or not
Most of these kids probable have facebooks twitter myspaces nad post 50/11 personal things about them on the daily. it takes 1 phone call to the phone company to change a number. i dont co sign on it, but its not that serious

People are calling the numbers and pranking the children. This is what happens when record labels don’t have better control over their loose cannon artists.
beyonce never ustream:(
NM is a nutcase!!!!
@Sandra Rose
She don’t even look happy. I can feel her fakeness through the screen.
so your still watching? @redeemed
I didnt watch past a couple of seconds because it is just a disgrace.
And to see all those people posting their phone numbers was just a spirit crusher.

mine too!!!
I will be so happy when her 15 – 30 minutes of fame are up.. the music industry is so sad nowadays. I miss good music with talented artists now everyone is a gimmick and the established talented artists are either taking breaks or trying to compete and fit in therefore releasing garbage too
This little girl has been at this for hours. She hasn’t taken a sip of water or a bite to eat. Clearly, the poor thing does not have a life. :/

When have you ever seen a happy celebrity who wasn’t faking it. :/
Then again, my children don’t even know who Nicki Minaj is and I aim to keep it that way for as long as possible

I have a little 3 y/o cousin who wanted a fvckin NM birthday party. Her mother lets her put on m/up and walk around the house in 6inch heels (better than most adult women), she knows the word to almost every NM song on the radio. I want to take her away from her parents, they think that its “cute” #endrant
@TinkTink wow I think I wouldve had to leave cause I would have gone off. I hate that even before I had kids I never thought it was cute for little kids to rap and sing adult songs doing adult dances. And now that I have kids there’s no way in hell but too many parents think its okay. I
for this generation
But my 3 year old can strut in my heels better than I can lol and will bust out dancing while wearing them and not fall or miss a step. Not to Nicki though
wow@tink tink really! my 6yo like beyonce but she has no idea who nikki is.
@Ms. Everything- Speaking of good music, I found a tape (yes a cassette tape) of songs I recorded in High School labeled “Slow Jams 93.” It has Silk, Jodeci, Christopher Williams, Guy and Mary’s 411 stuff. Crazy. Those were the days when you could find good music anywhere. I used to tape songs off of the radio too. LOL I know some of y’all remember that.
@LadeeA I wish I could find my old tapes but I have all that stuff on my Ipod. I wish the 90’s would come back!!! At least musically and yes I always had my little tape in recording stuff off the radio lol and I would record videos too
This little girl has been at this for hours. She hasn’t taken a sip of water or a bite to eat. Clearly, the poor thing does not have a life.

But you are watching her do nothing. that means she not the only one without a life. I still heart u tho

Wrong. I was actually working, preparing my post for T.I.’s live concert tomorrow night, which I’m streaming on my blog.
@sandra I dont think all or most celebs are un happy. They are human just like us “regular” folks who are also either happy/sad with life.
@sponge I never knew you had a child. Learn something new everyday.
Aight Sandy….
@Ladae YES I use to record songs off the radio
I feel so ashamed admitting that #holdsheaddown
I didn’t view the vid and don’t intend to. I question where are the online security folks, isn’t what she is doing a crime, these are kids.

Us regular folks don’t seek the spotlight or feel that something is missing in our lives if we don’t have the attention of every living soul on earth.
Did Nicki ever say the name of her album?
Edit: It’s called Pink Friday.
She calls herself a barbie so I will be so glad when this chick melt.. She is a big plastic joke..
I still see that her elevator is still stuck between two floors.
I’m the crazy one in the bunch this morning because I’m a huge Nicki fan. I can’t wait for her album. The gimmick side of her is getting way tiresome, but I actually enjoy her music. And I think it’s cool that she is reaching out to fans regardless of how stupid it is to put your phone number on Twitter.
Yea, the kids definitely should not be posting there phone numbers online, but I would like to know, where are the kids’ parents????
The parents should be the ones teaching their kids about do’s and don’ts when it comes to the internet, and these so-called “idols.”
Good Morning Everyone. Happy 49th Birthday to the POTUS!

I’m not getting the hoopla behind NM. She’s not “ill” on the mike and she doesn’t have talent. I’m confused….
Sandra plenty of reg folks LOVE attn and the spotlight and have issues when all eyes aren’t on them
Happy B day Mr President #teamLEOs

You guys are taking me WAAAAYYYYYY back! I used to hate when my tapes were “eaten” by the cassette player. I used to sit there with rubber gloves on trying to roll the magnetic flimsy thing-a-magig back on the roll, tape the ends that popped back together, screw the case that holds everything inside the tape just so I can play it again. Talk about keeping yourself occupied! My music was serious business..
@yvonne79 those were the good ole days when you had to play the WHOLE tape to hear the songs because ALL of the songs were good now you have ipod because who has made an album recently that you can listen to without skipping tracks !! !LOL
well dont feel bad that you can’t call the U.K., feel stupid, considering you’re sitting in front of the net and can damn near google anything except the exact date of your death….
miss me with this nonsense. no, i didn’t watch all the way through. I skipped through and stopped at that part.
I picked up my 3 yr old godson on Friday to take him for the weekend and when I turned on the radio I asked him what he wanted to hear and this fool yelled…Nicki Minaj …smfh..kids just aint the same no mo…i member when I was younger and liked Color Me Bad’s “Sex You Up”..i knew better to NEVER sing it in front of my mama…
Isaiah’s Mom- I’m not getting the hoopla behind NM. She’s not “ill” on the mike and she doesn’t have talent. I’m confused….

EXACTLY! Although I have never listened to any of her songs willingly. My 23 yr old brother thinks she’s the hottest female MC to ever live. He played a couple of her songs to convince me and she is so bland. I remember the dayz when Lyte (Paper Thin) and Yo-Yo, even Latifah on a good day would rap and make you feel somethin. Lil’ Kim was raunchy, but homegirl was lyrically nice. On the “I can love you” Mary song “who you lovin? Who you wanna be huggin? Dippin on your Ninja Honda with Tanisha and Rhonda What? LOL That’s probably corny now, but back then that was fire. Or Fox Brown with Blackstreet? Uh oh, Uh oh! Stop playin. I think I copied her entire outfit in that video with the cowgirl hat and the bodysuit with the print on it. Although I am a lot more mature now. I loved those days. That was the last of real female MC’s.

I did too. I have about 20 tapes of recorded songs from the radio. These days they play the same songs over and over so it’s really no need to tape it because they’ll play it til you’re sick of the song, LOL.

I like her music too *shrugs*. At first she was criticized for being Lil Kim and now she has found her own style and still being criticized. I’m just glad a female rapper is finally getting some shine in the mainstream because it’s been a long time (since Missy and Eve) coming. I agree about the gimmick, esp. the weird wigs.

I agree with you on the old school female MC’s especially MC Lyte who IMO is the best female and one of the best period. In addition to that great verse on MJB also the best part of “All About the Benjamins (remix)” and I love “Lighter’s Up”, it was great! Nicki is good to me though *shrugs*.

LOL at all of yall. I remeber putting masking tape in the holes to rerecord.
^^^^Y’all ladies bringing something proper!
Anna–what you know about using a pencil to unspoil the tape thread so that you could fix your cassette tape??? LOL!
They don’t build MCs like MC Lyte, Queen Latifah, Yo-Yo, Monie Love, Salt N Pepa, etc., etc, anymore. >:(
Foxy and Lil Kim are my homegirls as well. Shyt, I’m even cool with Charlie Baltimore and Queen Pen!!!

SR: I remember reading somewhere that almost all “artist” (I use the term “artist” losely) have some form of a personality or psychological disorder. They’re talented in a specific area (music, acting, art, etc.,) but they’re lacking (delayed?) in other areas (social skills, impulse control, emotional management). In other words; most talented people iz crazy.
Ooooh Ladies first.. Ladies first… Monie Love killed that song. Queen Pen was kind of hot,I’m will give her props. Charlie was fly and even though her hair was kool-aid red she was authentic.
Ok LMBO to winding the tapes with with pencils and the paper in the holes to re-record something, even my own voice. Me and my cousins used to record ourselves singing songs on tape too.
Nikki seems like she is a headcase. She reminds me of Anna Nicole Smith so much that it’s eerie! Uncontrollable outbursts, changing her voice and demeanor, that’s just spooky. I like some of her music but she needs to shut up when she’s not performing cuz her voice is hell-of annoying.
WOW! JUST WOW!
I have failed to see the wrong that nikki has ever done. she is just capitalizing off of the buzz that she’s created. She’s making a ton of cash doing so. She has fans.. duh- and of course they are going to be very young.. just like her bubble gum rhymes… what adult is going to follow her on ustream??!!
this devil business is getting really wack- I think all of these “people” calling out these so- called devil worshiping celebs are just a bunch of jealous haters! why spend your wheels worrying about something that has absolutely nothing to do with you. These celebs bleed, shit and cry, just like all of us.. they have no special ordained power. You people are attempting to give them socme sort of power..that doesnt even exist!
