Mostly accutely aware that things arent fair. They have a leg up cause our schools are mostly minority Black until you get to the high school level, where most of them are now. They can see the differences. Its hard to escape the microaggressions in high school escpecially bc they start to develop physically much faster than peers and their bodies are sexualized much more.. so the smaller white girl does not have to change her dukes but size 12 black girl please call your mom, your distracting the boys..
White boys in band can wear band hoodies no restrictions, black boys on sports teams cant wear sweats and gotta make sure their colors, fit, and everything else aquit.
