A Bravo insider reached out to Sandrarose.com within minutes of gossip tabloid TMZ’s report that well-known transvestite escort Amiyah Scott was added to the cast of Real Housewives of Atlanta as an official cast member.

I can’t share everything that the insider told me for obvious reasons. But here is the gist of what the insider said:

TMZ got it wrong; Amiyah is NOT an official cast member. Bravo is simply “testing” Amiyah to see how he “gels” with the other women. So far, some of them don’t like him.

The insider added that Amiyah “is now in strong running” to be added to the cast — but NOT as Nene’s replacement, or as one of the regular cast members.

Amiyah is a known escort who provides certain “services” to well-known rappers in the Atlanta area and beyond.

If Amiyah is added to the cast, his role will likely be as a fake “friend” of one of the regular cast members. This is why Bravo is testing Amiyah to see who he clicks with on the set. So far he is not clicking with any of the cast members — one of the cast members sees Amiyah as a threat to her man.

FYI: Kellon is very effeminate while Amiyah has manly characteristics, which is surprising as his manliness contrasts wildly with his ultra feminine exterior. So it’s easy to see who is the “man” in their relationship.

Good morning Ms. Sandra Rose,

I was not expecting blogs and news outlets to run with Amiyah Scott being part of the RHOA cast so fast, literally 15-20 min. after Amiyah arrived I’m told it was on TMZ. What really is going on is that they are doing test filming to see which cast members gel together the best, and those two or three chosen will ultimately be added as a main cast member for this seasons “The Real Housewives of Atlanta”.

As you know Nene Leakes will not be returning next season. So far Kandi Tucker, Kenya Moore, Cynthia Bailey, Phaedra Parks are confirmed as main cast members coming back. With Sheree Whitfield, Porsha Williams, Kim Fields, and Amiyah Scott testing out to see which two or possible three out of the four will make the main cast roster, and which will be downgraded to friends of housewives.

Marlo Hampton and Malorie Bailey are supporting cast members to Kenya and Cynthia. All of this is subject to change as filming delves more into the chemistry of the cast. Especially being last year Claudia Jordan started out as a friend to Kenya and managed to become a main cast member.

So far Amiyah has a very strong start with becoming a main cast member based on yesterday was Amiyah’s first day of filming and the media coverage last night and today. Also Amiyah is in a relationship with Atlanta hairstylist Kellon Deryck.
