If you have a minute — and you know your way around a Torrent site — you might want to have a look at a massive data dump by the Ashley Madison hackers.
Ashleymadison.com is a massively popular website that helps married people cheat discretely.
The website’s slogan is “Life is short. Have an affair.” Ashleymadison.com also boasted that it was “100% secure” — until last month.
The hackers, who seem to have a grievance with the website, gave Ashleymadison.com owners until today to take the website offline. But they refused.
So 32 million names, addresses, phone numbers, and sexual preferences of cheating married men were dumped onto the Torrents for their wives to find.
The hackers caution that just because your man’s name, address, phone number and credit card transactions are on the list, doesn’t mean he cheated on you. It could just mean he wanted to cheat but he chickened out after registering on the website.
