U.S. President Barack Obama kept his promise to invite suitcase clock/bomb boy Ahmed Mohamed to the White House.
In case you were wondering: Mohamed didn’t bring his controversial clock with him.
Mohamed was invited to attend Astronomy Night at the White House on Monday. The 14-year-old was accompanied by his sister and father, a Muslim activist who has ties to terrorism groups.
Cool clock, Ahmed. Want to bring it to the White House? We should inspire more kids like you to like science. It's what makes America great.

Mohamed, who just returning from visiting Mecca with his family, has not attended school since his arrest in Texas in September for bringing what teachers believed was a clock bomb to school.
Obama did not meet privately with Mohamed at the White House. A spokesperson confirmed that Obama met briefly with Mohamed and his family in passing.
Security was unusually tight for a White House event. The Secret Service nearly suffocated Mohamed as he reached to shake hands with Obama.
The Secret Service didn’t take any chances with the junior Jihadist in such close proximity to Obama.

“We have to encourage those glimmers of curiosity,” Obama said during his speech at the astronomy event. He didn’t mention Mohamed or his little clock during his speech.
Mohamed initially told the media his clock was “homemade”, but experts say the clock was assembled from clock parts.
The little con artist didn’t create anything. He simply took apart a clock and stuffed the parts inside a case.
He then took the case to school and showed it to at least 6 teachers until he found one who gave him the response he was looking for.
By the way, Mohamed still hasn’t bothered to pick up his clock from police headquarters.
I can't wait to get my clock back & take it to the #WhiteHouse to show @BarackObama the invite is an honor, looking forward to meeting you!
