Washed up singer Sean Kingston is back in the headlines after stiffing yet another jeweler.
A New York watchmaker is accusing Kingston, 26, of paying for $300,000 worth of jewelry with bounced checks.
The jeweler, Aqua Master, filed a lawsuit in Manhattan federal court on Monday, according to the NY Daily News.
Kingston, whose real name is Kisean Anderson, traveled to NY from his native Miami to purchase nine high end pieces from Aqua Master, located on 47th Street and Fifth Ave.
After making his selections, Kingston said his Los Angeles-based business manager would pay for the pricey items via wire transfer.
When the wire transfer didn’t go through, Kingston paid for his purchases with $300,000 worth of bad checks.
Kingston’s mother, Janice Turner, is also named in the lawsuit.
Turner reportedly deposited one of the bad checks into Aqua Master’s account at a Los Angeles-area bank.
A man who identified himself to The Daily News as Kingston’s manager denied the allegations. The man was confident that the case would be thrown out of court.
Kingston, who is best known for his 2007 hit song “Beautiful Girls,” has a history of stiffing jewelers out of hundreds of thousands of dollars.
In March 2015 he was ordered to pay $356,000 to Avi (Da Jeweler) Davidov in a default judgment.
