February is Black History Month in America. On Wednesday, President Donald Trump invited black clergy and federal employees to the White House to meet with him and his director of African American Outreach, Omarosa Manigault, pictured left.

The most interesting moment in the meeting came when Pastor Darell Scott, Senior Pastor of Cleveland’s New Spirit Revival Center, told the president he was recently contacted by “some of the top gang thugs” in Chicago to request a sit-down.

Dr. Scott told Trump he will meet with the top gang members in 2 weeks to discuss “lowering their body count”.
Pastor Scott said the gang members contacted him because they know he has Trump’s ear and they respect Donald Trump.
“That’s a great idea,” said Trump, who added that “Chicago is totally out of control”.
President Trump added, “If they’re not going to solve the problem… then we’re going to solve the problem for them, because what’s happening in Chicago should not be happening in this country.”
Pastor Scott reiterated that the Chicago gang members “want to work with this administration”.
Scott said the gang members “believe in this administration. They didn’t believe in the prior (Obama) administration. They told me this out of their mouths.”
Clearly Chicago’s gang members and drug dealers got the message that Trump will send in the feds to clean up Chicago if the mayor didn’t fix the rising murder rate there.
Say what you will about President Trump, but he is doing more for Chicago than former President Obama did in 8 years.
