President Donald Trump continues to clean house by replacing all of the former administration’s holdovers.

Last week, President Trump asked U.S. Surgeon General Vivek H. Murthy to resign. On Friday, Trump appointed Rear Admiral Sylvia Trent-Adams as acting U.S. Surgeon General. Trent-Adams is one of the first registered nurses to hold such an esteemed position.

According to the AJC.com, Trent-Adams served as Deputy Surgeon General under Murthy, and she has held various positions within the Department of Health and Human Services.

Dr. Trent-Adams is a graduate of Hampton University and the University of Maryland. She holds a PhD and a Masters degree in nursing and health policy.

Despite her lofty academic achievements, liberals complain that she is not as qualified as Murthy.

The NY Times reported that Murthy’s wife claimed her husband was fired after he refused to resign.

Murthy was favored by former President Obama because of his pro gun control and anti vaping opinions.

The liberal media was quick to pounce. “NURSE REPLACES SURGEON GENERAL” screamed Friday’s NY Times headline.

ABC News tweeted that Murthy was replaced by “a nurse”.

“Surgeon General Vivek Murthy Didn’t Get Enough Time to Do What He Wanted”, reads a Forbes magazine headline.

Friday’s Western Journalism headline mocked the left’s fake outrage: “Trump Stirs Controversy By Naming Black Woman To Succeed Obama’s Surgeon General”.

The leftwing media fails to mention that Dr. Trent-Adams was appointed to her position by Barack Obama.
