Kevin Hart

Kevin Hart has apologized to his pregnant wife, Eniko Parrish-Hart, and his children, Hendrix and Heaven, after someone tried to extort him over an alleged “sexually suggestive” video.

According to gossip webloid TMZ, the police are investigating the extortion attempt.

“I made a bad error in judgement and I put myself in a bad environment where only bad things can happen and they did,” Hart said in a video posted to his Instagram page on Saturday.

A somber Hart continued, “At the end of the day man, I just simply have got to do better. But I’m also not going to allow a person to have financial gain off of my mistakes and in this particular situation that was what was attempted. I said I’d rather fess up to my mistakes.”

Hart’s apology video garnered nearly 2 million views and over 17,000 comments. Most of the comments were unsympathetic and harsh, but that’s the least of Hart’s troubles.

Rumors are running rampant that the extortion attempt does not involve a woman.

Hart, 38, and his brother Robert were raised by their single mom, Nancy Hart, in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.

Hart’s father, Henry Witherspoon, was a cocaine addict who spent most of Hart’s childhood in and out of prison.

According to an insider at a gossip webloid (not TMZ), a viral video that showed Hart and aspiring singer Monique Gonzalez cavorting in the backseat of a Lexus in Miami in July is not the same video that is involved in the extortion attempt.

Taking advantage of Kevin’s pain, Monique wrote, “The truth always comes to light” on her Instagram page on Saturday.

Remember, Hart laughed off rumors that he was cheating on his wife with Monique back in July.

“Going to be honest with you people, I’m at a point where I can’t even be shocked anymore. All I do is laugh man,” he said at the time.

But the extortion video is no laughing matter. It is much more sinister — not because of what’s on it, but because of who is in it.

The video, which was filmed by a 3rd party, is not a sex tape. So why did Kevin apologize and get the law involved for a non-sex tape?

Because the extortion video has the potential to ruin his career.

It stands to reason that if there is no sex tape involved, Kevin would not go to such lengths to apologize publicly and call the law to investigate.

FYI: there’s a popular p0rn website that allows users (mostly male sex workers) to upload videos of themselves engaging in sex acts with straight men — most of whom are married.

Males who identify as trans have been teaming up to record these videos for the purposes of extorting straight men — because extortion pays more than tricking.

This is similar to what happened to singer Bobby V in July. Bobby thought he was hooking up with a biological female for sex — only to be ambushed by 2 female impersonators.

When Bobby resisted the extortion attempt, the video was leaked online. The optics of a R&B singer running from a female impersonator’s apartment was scandalous. But Bobby didn’t have much of a career left to ruin.

Unlike Bobby V, Kevin has a lot more to lose than just his black fan base.
